Concert and Wine/Beer Tasting, Music at Gazebo, Dinosaur Week and More

Roads will be closed down throughout the Cedars Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as crews continue working on a water main project. The Caldwell Police Department is advising residents to plan alternate routes and follow posted detour routes.

The Essex County Summer Music concert series and Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy's Centennial Reception will be Monday at Grover Cleveland Park. 

The beer and wine tasting will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a concert featuring home town band The Kootz at 7 p.m. 

It's Dinosaur Week at the Caldwell Public Library! This week-long program will run two hours and focus teaching school-aged children all about dinosaurs. It will be held in the Children's Room Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. For more information about Dinosaur Week, call the library at  (973) 226-2837.

The North Caldwell Planning Board will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. in borough hall, at 141 Gould Ave. 

The West Caldwell Township Council will convene Tuesday at 7 p.m. in town hall, at 30 Clinton Road. The agenda for this meeting has yet to be posted. 

The Caldwell Public Library will throw a bash for its Summer Reading Finale on Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. Children in the summer reading program can enjoy pizza, and there will be special visit from cartoonist Paul Merlin and the mayor. 

The Caldwell Zoning Board will met Wednesday at 7 p.m. at borough hall, at 1 Provost Square.

The West Caldwell summer gazebo concert series will continue Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Crane Park with the musical talents of The Infernos, American's number one show band. Food will be served by the ShopRite of West Caldwell starting at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The West Caldwell Township Environmental Commission will convene Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in town hall, at 30 Clinton Road.
