West Caldwell Picks Memorial Park Playground—See Photos
Township says new playground equipment will be installed this spring.
Memorial Park will have a new playground by Mother's Day, township officials said Tuesday.
Burke playground equipment has been selected for the West Caldwell park, and installation is expected to be completed around the middle of May.
The new playground will include an area for toddlers and a separate space for older children. The age-specific equipment will be on either ends of the padded artificial ground cover.

There will also be swing sets and balance beams, and benches will be installed around the perimeter.
The improvements to the playground are part of a multi-phase redevelopment of Memorial Park.
