West Caldwell Council Convenes, Westville Pool Remains Open and More Tuesday

Here is what is happening in and around the Caldwells today. If you know of something going on that is not on the list, let Patch know in the comment section below. 

• The West Caldwell Township Council will convene for a meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at town hall, at 30 Clinton Road. 
• School doesn't start until Sept. 9, so don't forget that the Westville Pool will remain open after the holiday through Saturday between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Cedar Street Pool will still close for the season on Sunday, Sept. 2. 
• The Verona Historical Society will present Richard Kennedy and his book, "Essex Mountain Sanatorium" for a book signing at the Verona Community Center, at 880 Bloomfield Ave. in Verona. 
  
• The Caldwell Borough Council business meeting for Tuesday has been canceled. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at 7 p.m. at borough hall.
