I don't believe that people don't "really understood the issues". When someone applies for CEO of a company, he has to have a proven track record and lots of experience behind him if it is a Forturne500 or higher company. America in the last election surprisingly went with someone with little to no background or track record based on what? Change and Hope speech was the winner. Then did not complete the promised job he was previously elected too, which really showed me his level of responsibility. I am not a Mitt fan by a long shot, but he has a vast track record of accomplishments behind him that could help turn this country around. He has said stupid things, as has Obama, who has done so on many occasions. Yet, Obama has nothing to show for accomplishments other than his "Nobel" prize he really didn't work for or deserve. If you want to get the jobs turned around, put someone in who has run a successful business and shows it.

I am sorry to note Cassansra, but even stating such a bigoted statement in this day and age is not only a racist statement, but a false one. In may polls over the last couple months Caucasians have shown an average 50/50 split, while it has been noted in numerous papers that 94% of Minorities polled said they would vote for Obama, many not giving a reason. People have many reasons for voting, but the polls show many other indicators other than color being the issue, such as economy, lack of fulfillment of promises, etc.

I believe that Friday the 13th is my luckiest day, especially Friday May 13th... It reminds me of 1 John 5:13! Also because the number 13 is my favorite number!

Ow what a shock! I grew up hanging out there from middle school, to waiting for fire calls or ambulance calls when on the local depts, to bringing my kids there for parties and special dinners. When my daughter and I go out for a special father daughter night, that was usually the go to place! So many memories! Best of luck to all those who worked there. Thank you for the good times and memories!

To Sean, I agree with you that they are being pushed out of their natural habitat, as I believe others have stated, and I agree with you about a fence; but I can not agree with your statement about hunting. Hunting, whether by man or natural predator, would not make the deer leave, only relocate and then return. Additionally there are very little areas for legal hunting in New Jersey, and those locations always have deer return, with in days. Hunting will cull the herds as natural predators and disease would have. Although I do not like hunting, I realize it can have beneficial reprecussions such as decrease of herd size, monies for the state and county, liberal excercise of Americans rights, food for tables, revenue for animal control and welfare, just to name a few. One thing it doesn't do is add to the habitat situation facing the animals at large. Please check into these facts. Thanx

In my 45 years living in the Caldwells I have noticed two related issues. A rise in the number of native animal sightings and a rise in the number of people with allergies. In the 60's and 70's my friends and I lived almost every hour of every day running, hiding, biking, searching and learning about the woods (there really was a lot around here back then) and RARELY saw the native life, though it became a passion of mine to seek them out! Our gardens would attract them though. At this time and up into my 30's I had no allergies either. Then the alergies started and tests showed nothing specific. Over the years I have found I only get allergies around here but not at the shore or camping near the Delaware or anywhere in rural NJ or even rural PA or NY. I met a doctor who had a theory about all the non-native plants causing such in people. I think it is so. I also think when we plant all those beautiful edible plants we create a "Hansel n Gretal" scenario for the animals. Between the lure of those easy pickings and the over development here and loss of habitat, we/they are forced to see each other more and more. They can't stop eating and we can't stop planting, where do we go from here?

A sad sign of the times. Home depot has a set inventory and for those of us who don't want to buy all new products just to replace a screw, always went to ACE for the more common things HD doesn't carry as part of their push to get you to buy all new products. Schantz's was the best and ACE tried to fill the gap. The ACE employees were always helpfull and polite though there were times you had to be patient to get help when they were busy and I have seen a number leave in a huff when they didn't get served right away. They always had that hard to find part. I will miss them greatly.

Naw. No shooting please. I was hoping to just be harsh enough to gain attention to the fact that this show goes beyond being entertainment to actually harming people. That promoting it only reinforces that harm. College kids have been reported reenacting episodes on dates. Many current cartons have that same flavor and most adults can easily filter what is good or bad in them, or define the humor. I definitely retract the "obvious" statement and see I did more than a little ranting. For that I apologize to any I may have insulted trying get the point across and over stepping politeness. No one can say, or understand what someone else is thinking or feeling. I just hope people look at how this can be seen as both harming to others, especially women, and even more importantly, the young minds that may not be able to filter as adults do. We see so much injury and hurt in the world today, that to want to see it happen in real life really bothers me, so I spoke from the heart, and as a father. Thanks
