Just a warning, you shouldn't operate the generator outside in the rain. NEVER put it in an enclosed space.

JShepard, I got a 5000 watt, Homelite at Home depot. It is best to speak with an electrician and have him/her give you the requirements,based upon what you want to power. My installtion required a "twist lock" plug on the generator.

I did the same thing Scruffy &B@B after the Halloween storm last year. I opted for 6 circuits which still gives me heat, light, TV & internets. Going to get some gas now. Stay safe everyone!

The estimated taxes are way too low. The top Federal rate is 39.6%. Also, for those of us living in NJ, you must also pay State taxes. While State taxes would be deducted from Federal taxes owed, the total amount of taxes owed (State and Federal) would be around 47% or $177 million not $94.2 million. If you live or work in NYC and bought your ticket there, it would be even higher.
