Joseph Chen is a senior at James Caldwell High School where he is heavily involved in over 12 different extracurricular activities . He has lived in West Caldwell since the age of two, attending preschool at Harrison School, grades K-5 at Wilson Elementary School, and grades 6-8 at Grover Cleveland Middle School.
He plans to study either engineering or media/journalism (or both) in college.
When he finds the (rare) free time, Joseph loves to blog, tweet, and dive into the world of photography and videography.
He works as the Art & Photography Editor for the James Caldwell High School student-run newspaper The Caldron and as a photographer for both <i>The Caldron</i> and the James Caldwell High School yearbook The Clarion.
He also serves as the Class of 2012 President, Student Council President, National Honor Society President, and Interact Club Willing Hearts Coordinator.
He can be found volunteering at Willing Hearts every Saturday afternoon and rarely seen without a camera.
Joseph wants to gain experience as a freelance photographer and is willing to take up assignments and/or experience opportunities.
