Lucy is an 8-year-old silver miniature Schnauzer. She is missing a hind leg and has cataracts, but that doesn't slow her down at all. She is a very sweet dog, but high strung so she needs to be in a quiet home with no children and no dogs smaller than her. She weighs in at 18 lbs. and does get along with dogs her size and larger and also has no problem with cats. Lucy walks well on a leash, is crate trained, up-to-date on vaccinations and housebroken. She loves to sit on your lap or beside you in your chair, will settle for nothing less than sleeping in your bed and is a great cuddler! Charlotte is one of four hairless beagle puppies rescued by Orphaned Pets from Kentucky. Her siblings are Caesar, Chewy and Cricket (two males, two females). If you are interested in this breed, please read up on them and remember, their hairless coat may require special care. Lucky is an Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler). At 53 lbs., he is considered a medium-sized dog. He is smart, attentive, playful and would make someone a great jogging partner. He is 1 1/2 yrs. old and updated on all vaccinations and is neutered as well as micro-chipped. Bella is a 4-year-old Lab mix looking for a home of her own. She is totally housebroken, crate trained, spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations and is a highly intelligent canine. ella has been living with our trainer so she knows many basic obedience commands as well as some extras—if you say hello to her, she waves! Bella is happiest when she is either walking, hiking or swimming and loves playing in the snow. She is good on a leash, likes to hang her head out the window when she's in the car and can play fetch forever. Bella loves toys and stuffed animals and carries them around with her and sometimes brings them to bed, too. Her favorite place to sleep is in your bed at night and she's a great cuddler! Do you have a soft spot for elderly dogs? Well, Mazy might be a good fit for you. She does not know why they gave her up to the shelter, but is hoping for another chance. Her previous owner had to move into a nursing home and could not take Mazy with her. Mazy is, what they call, a Puggle. She is 7-years-young, a little on the chubby side, fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped and ready to move in with you. After a few days in her foster home, she found her way to the bed and foster mom Rosemarie found her snoring in her bed. She loves to get real close to you in bed, that's how affectionate she is. Not sure why Bear was not claimed by his owner. He was picked up as a stray and we are glad we were able to rescue him. He is a sweet natured dog who gets along well with other dogs. Though he needs some obedience training, we think that is not hard to do. He is definitely crate trained, loves to play but is not too fond of his crate.
