Here's your chance to have cocktails with one of the "Housewives." Teresa Giudice of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey will make an appearance at Sunrise Cellars (ShopRite Liquors) in Caldwell Friday for a tasting of her sparkling wine, Fabellini. Giudice will be autographing bottles and cookbooks for fans from 1 to 3 p.m., according to a poster at the store. Fabellini, a pre-mixed bellini which comes in peach and raspberry flavors, is produced by Brotherhood Winery in New York. The reality star hopes to follow in the footsteps of Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel, who launched the Skinnygirl cocktail line in 2009 and later sold it for a reported $100 million, according to US Weekly. Cedar Grove residents anxious to meet a star of Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of New Jersey star at a Cedar Grove charity fundraiser Wednesday night were disappointed to learn the star had cancelled because she was ill. Event organizer Edel DeGangi said she received an apologetic email from Jacqueline Laurita Wednesday evening saying she would not be attending the event to raise money for Cedar Grove resident Frank Napolitano because she came down with an illness after caring for her children the past two days. “She’s sick as a dog,” DeGangi said Wednesday night. Laurita said her children were home sick from school the last few days and now she’s sick. She said Laurita apologized for missing the fundraiser for the family of Frank Napolitano, …

Giudice, who was at DiPaolo with hubby, Joe, as part of her whirlwind tour promoting her cookbook, Fabulicious!: Teresa's Italian Cookbook, greeted fans of all ages, posing for pictures and signing autographs, well past the event's scheduled two-hour runtime. "The event was supposed to last from 6-8, but she was here until almost 10. No one was stranded in line, everyone who came to see her got a chance to," said DiPaolo's Bakery owner, Fulvio DiPaolo. Agency molds young talent, brings reality TV show to downtown Caldwell.
It's 5:30 on a Friday evening, but the workday is still in full swing at Xist Model and Talent. Maria De Santis, the Caldwell agency's owner and director, is the busiest she's been since opening four years ago. Like raising them as her own, casting children can be a round-the-clock experience. The Caldwell native has an assistant, Jamie Jacobson, but still multi-tasking isn't an option—it's the status quo. It's been a chaotic week for the agency that handles some adults, but "mostly kids and teens," De Santis said. It's not time to go home just yet—there's one more big casting meeting at 6 p.m., and the clock is ticking. Then there's the ongoing excitement over the daughter of a certain housewife. De Santis is Gia Giudice's talent agent, …
