Caldwell-West Caldwell Schools Announce Kindergarten Registration Dates

Children turning 5 before Oct. 1, 2013 are eligible to enroll. Here's what parents need to know about enrolling in district's kindergarten and pre-K.

The Caldwell-West Caldwell School District has scheduled registration for the 2013-2014 kindergarten class for the week of Feb. 11.  Any child who will be five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2013 may register. Children reaching the age of five on or after Oct. 2, 2013 will not be eligible for kindergarten until September 2014.  To complete registration, parents must present the child’s original birth certificate and proof of residency along with the registration application. Parents will be able to obtain registration materials from the district’s website at www.cwcboe.org/kindergarten or from the elementary school that their child will be attending. North Caldwell Announces Kindergarten Registration Dates

District requests names of children eligible for kindergarten in the fall.

Registration for North Caldwell children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall will be held on March 4, 5 and 6, according to North Caldwell Schools. Children who live in the borough who will turn 5 by Oct. 1, 2013 are eligible to enroll.  The district is asking parents to contact Grandview School at 973-228-0510 to provide the child's information. Registration packets will be mailed to prospective students prior to the registration dates. Incoming students can become aquainted with Grandview by attending a Saturday morning program held once a month at the school by the North Caldwell Partnership for Education.
