Details are as follows: Duties will include, but are not limited to, answering heavy volume of incoming calls, meeting and greeting members and guests, maintaining dining reservations, basic administrative/clerical responsibilities. This position is the first point of contact for callers and visitors—a professional demeanor and clear communication skills are a must. A solid work ethic, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are necessary skills. Word and Excel understanding is required. Essex County Hosts Job Fair at Turtle Back Zoo

Positions available at South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange.

Essex County will host a job fair for positions at the South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange later this month.  The job fair will take place at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo, 560 Northfield Ave., West Orange, on Sunday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 2 to 6 p.m. Positions are available at the zoo, Safari Mini-Golf, Treetop Adventure and McCloone's Boat House Restaurant.  The county is hiring in the areas of farm aide, maintenance, guest services and more.  Applicants must be 18 years or older and must pass a background check. Jobs in West Caldwell: Police Dispatcher Sought

West Caldwell Police Department now accepting applications.

The West Caldwell Police Department is currently accepting applications for a dispatcher.  Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a high school diploma or GED equivalent, at least 18 years old and have no criminal convictions. The ability to read, write and speak English are also required, as are typing and computer skills.  A flexible work schedule and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays is also required.  Applicants will be required to pass drug and psychological testing and will undergo an extensive background check.  The position includes medical benefits, vacation and sick days and a pension.
