District 26 GOP Trenton Trio to Run Again For Legislature

Parsippany's Joseph Raich has stated his intention to run for Assembly.

The state legislators representing the 26th Legislative District — Sen. Joe Pennacchio of Pine Brook, Assemblyman Jay Webber of Morris Plains and Parsippany resident Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce — announced their plan to run for re-election as a ticket Thursday. “I look forward to running with our team and serving the constituents of the 26th Legislative District," said Pennacchio. Webber Looks Ahead to Convention and Change

26th District legislator says transitioning after the loss of DeCroce is 'difficult and unpleasant.'

The Morris County Republican Committee meets Wednesday for a special convention to fill the seat left vacant by the sudden Jan. 9 death of 26th District Assemblyman Alex DeCroce, of Parsippany.   One of the GOP leaders awaiting the event being held at the Zeris Inn in Mountain Lakes is the late lawmaker's colleague, district office mate and friend—a man in mourning yet moving forward—Assemblyman Jay Webber. In addition to dealing with the personal loss of DeCroce, Webber also faces a move to new district offices. Because of redistricting, Whippany is no longer part of the 26th District, which means the DeCroce/Webber suite of offices on Route 10 will have to move. Hey Frank, If all politics is local so is all corruption. Maybe the "Crazy guy" who looks at you in the mirror everyday for not paying attention to it or worse yet justifying it for the sake of ideaology. The Republican Party in Morris has it's share of wrong doing.   more ›
