Santa Coming to Caldwell Towns

Listen for the sirens for a spotting of the jolly old elf in North Caldwell and Caldwell this weekend.

Santa Claus really is coming to town. This weekend, local fire departments will partake in a Christmastime tradition and transport Santa through North Caldwell and Caldwell. On Saturday, Dec. 22, St. Nick will hop on a North Caldwell Fire Department truck at noon, bringing candy canes for all the boys and girls, as well as fire safety messages for their parents. On Sunday, Dec. 23, starting at 11:30 a.m., the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department will parade its fire vehicles through every street in the borough, including Santa on his sleigh. Members of the fire department will hand out candy canes and collect non-perishable foods for the Caldwell Food Pantry. So listen for the sirens and come out to wave hello to Santa!

They skipped over our street in North Caldwell this year it seems like. Saw them on Stephanie Drive and heard them on Grandview, but they did not come up my block. My daughter was all bundled up and ready to go, but no Santa. :(   more ›

Hi friends! I'm the Patch Elf on the Shelf. Call me Patchy. I've heard about more of my friends hanging around the area lately, and I wondered what they were up to. Could their families post pictures here on Patch to show me? I'd love to catch up with them. We all go back to Santa on Christmas Eve, but in the meantime, we'll be watching you! Cheers, Patchy the Elf Add your photo by clicking on the green "Upload Photos and Videos" icon.
