Two-Car Accident Shuts Down Westville Avenue at Gould Place

[This article was updated at 5 p.m. Monday] An SUV and four-door sedan collided Monday afternoon and closed down a portion of Westville Avenue soon after school was let out. A silver Hyundai was driving with another passenger when it collided with a black Porsche Cayenne SUV at the intersection of Westville Avenue and Gould Place shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, according to the Caldwell Police Department. The West Essex First Aid Squad took two people to the hospital with minor injuries, said a Caldwell Police Department spokesperson. Police, fire and emergency services personnel responded to the scene.
