I went with my friend to Reds and I have to say it was the best experience I had. I enjoyed the fast service and the food is so fresh. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. I wish there where more places like this with fresh food and fast service. That is a perfect fit for NJ. The best Turkey Burger I ever had and the Italian Beef sandwich took me back to Chicago. I can't get enought of Red's I will go over and over again and have told my friends and family about it! Love Red's!

Super yummy and super fresh! Not loaded down with sodium or heavy dressings which turns me off from other places. You actually get to taste the fresh meats and relish on the sandwich instead of the condiments. Friendly staff and good selection of Chicago-style fare.

I live in New Jersey and travel to Chicago often - the home of Italian beef sandwiches. My mother was 100% Italian and but for my tavels to Chicago, I dont think I would have known about Italian beef. So for all you Italians out there, know this, if you were from Chicago, Itlaian beef would have been a big part of your heritage. I have tried all the various Italian beef restaurants in Chicago. Red's took a Chicago favorite and made it better. I'm perplexed by the negative reviews. This is not a frozen burger pattie from a fast food chain laced with trans saturated fats. This is slow cooked pure choice beef. For that, I'd gladly pay a few extra sheckels. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed - the fries, turkey burger and man n' cheese are incredible. Lately I have been purchasing take out kits to assemble my own sandwiches for lunch at the office or dinner. Kudos to Red for bringing a healthy and delicous alternative to fast food to New Jersey.

George,,, been to Chicago??? Did Ya read what Reds is about??do you know what FRESH is? You wont find this food in Italys cuisine books, but that sandwich has been reviewed extensively in Gourmet mag. And, EVERYTHING is made fresh.
I took the tour, asked questions and tasted everything. It is all Very well done.
George, Stay Happy, and Keep eating the G. M.foods all the chains serve, Enjoy the bulk-frozen-boxes of food that just get microwaved in the back room, and crappy pizza and Mcdonalds pink slime. Reds is ok with me.

I would respectfully have to disagree with George/9:14am. Red's makes everything homemade, and the container on the shelf is also homemade, just packaged for you to take home. And check out http://www.italianbeef.com/history.php for more on the sandwich and giardianara. The Mac and Cheese is just Mac and Cheese, not Italian Mac and Cheese. I can't wait to try Red's Chicago Dogs myself.

I don't know where they get Italian Beef Sandwich and Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwich from but there is no such thing in the Italian Culture... I tried the Italian Beef Sandwich awwww sorry I bought it WILL NOT BUY IT OR GO THERE AGAIN HORRABLE what ever they put in I think it is relish that is to be home made NOT I saw the contaner on the shelf.. never again.....

That looks disgusting. Based on the photo alone, I don't think I would ever try one.

Our office shared the roast beef sandwich, the chili, the chicken sandwich and vegetable soup. Results: soup= wayyy too much salt: chicken sandwich= very good; roast beef sandwich= very good (not great): chili= we combined the veggie with some turkey - ok but again way too much salt. Would we go back? yes - to try again. Prices were a bit high.

Okay went here today - such nice people. They let me try everything! The turkey chili is to die for! the Mac and cheese is delciious and the soups are very flavorful - you can tell everything is home made! I have yet to try the signature roast beef but i will be back! You must give it a try!
