I have been going to this cleaners for the last few months with very few issues aside from a few shirts not coming completely clean. However this past week I got a shirt back ripped wide open. I took it back to the shop while it was still clearly freshly cleaned, and the shop owner insisted that I had ripped it myself after wearing it. After a decent amount of haggling he reluctantly offered me some store credit. I could deal with their poor manners, but refusing to own up to their own mistakes is not acceptable. I will not be going back.

My boyfriend recently had a pair of expensive suit pants hemmed at this cleaners. The legs were visibly uneven and he had to attend a wedding and wear the pants because there was no time to take them back. Upon returning to the cleaners to have the pants fixed, the gentlemen behind the counter acted as if he could not understand the problem. Finally he agreed to fix the pants. We picked the pants up a day later and it appeared as though nothing (except some pressing) had been done to them. The same gentleman handed over the pants, did not speak to us, and went back to his phone call and work. After trying the pants on and seeing they were still uneven (in the shop, mind you), the gentleman decided to completely ignore us as if we weren't there. My boyfriend needed the pants so we left completely unsatisfied and will have to go to another tailor to have the "chop job" rectified. We now call this place the Caldwell Chop Shop. A total waste of $17. Do not have your clothing tailored here.
