The Cedar Street Pool is located at the crossroads of Woodside Avenue and Cedar Street. It is one of the two public pools for Caldwell and West Caldwell residents.
The large pool features a kiddie pool in addition to the "big kids pool," a playground, benches, diving boards and open fields for playing sports.
There is also a stream running alongside the pool grounds, where a small bridge has been built to connect it to the other side. Once you cross the bridge, you'll find grills and an open area for picnicking.
Seasonal badges can be obtained at the West Caldwell Municipal Building at 30 Clinton Rd. in Room 202. All members are issued identification badges, which are required to enter the pool area. Guest passes may be purchased by members at the gate of the pool. Membership entitles admission to both pools. General rules are posted at both sites.
Swimming lessons are available for children entering kindergarten. West Caldwell residents from elementary through senior high school age are eligible to try out for the swim team.
