What wonderful service, food and atmoshere. We had a family gathering of 30 and they did such a wonderful, affordable job with our eating experience.
Casa Filippo is hands down "THE" best Italian place in town, eating there gives me the same feeling I had when i was eating at my Moms house growing up , In fact My parents who are from the Old Country even Loved it. And The staff ? well the only thing I can say is AWSOME.
I am the co -owner. Thank you for the review. We actually do lunch, dinner, on and off premise catering as well. Come September my husband and I are looking to make some changes - getting older, working nights is tough and our children are older, we have more free time to behave like "normal" (restaurant people live abnormal lives!!!) people - go out to dinner, take in a show, run away for the weekend. In September we will be looking towards building our lunch business, ala carte and on/off site catering. We will also cater large parties on/off premise 7 days a week. And build a dinner take out business 4 to 7 PM. Any suggestions on marketing our new ideas would be most appreciated. Robin Lavorato
For some reason my fair, detailed review of my experiences at Casa Filippo was deleted. So I will re post it in a more concise format. Food= very good, Atmosphere=very good, service=mediocre at best. I have eaten here 5 times. They take much better care of their regulars than occasional diners.
This is our favorite place in town. The food has phenomenal flavor and the weekend specials are always a real treat. If you don's see something on the menu, just ask. As long as the chef has the necessary ingredients, he'll expertly prepare anything you want. The prices are more than reasonable, meaning you get a great bang for the ol' buck.
Try the stuffed sole with brandy cream sauce and shrimp, or the weekend linguine special with lump crab, Manila clams and whole shrimp. You'll be back. . .
You will not find a more intimate restaurant in town. The dining areas are a series of rooms that provide some privacy while not denying the diner of a busy restaurant scene. The food is always excellent with varying specials. There is always something new to try. This is a must visit for fine dining.
This is a cute little place. The food and service is good. Well worth a visit.

We love Casa! I have had baby shower there, son's baptism party and daughter's first birthday. Severio is one of the nicest and most genuine people around. So easy to work with it's unreal. The food is fantastic and we always are happy having parties, dining, catering out or taking food home for a night in.
