The Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education will hold a public conference meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m. at district headquarters, at 104 Gray St. in West Caldwell.

The North Caldwell Council and Mayor will convene Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. for a meeting conference at borough hall, at 141 Gould Ave.

The 74th annual West Essex Art Association's Members Show will be on display starting Tuesday throughout October in the Towne Square Gallery in Crane's Mill, at 459 Passaic Ave. in West Caldwell. The entries by member artists include sculpture and work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, collage and mixed media.  

The awards reception for the show will be on Saturday 3-5 p.m. in the Towne Square Gallery. The public is welcome to attend.  The gallery is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, call (973) 439-9727.
