The Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the district's administration building at Harrison School, at 104 Gray St. in West Caldwell.

Tuesday is election day. There are elections for the Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education (click here for more information) and for the Caldwell Borough Council. If you don't know where to vote, then check out the state's polling place search database here: https://voter.njsvrs.com/PublicAccess/jsp/PollPlace/PollPlaceSearch.jsp.
Due to the election, the following students will have early dismissal on Tuesday:
- Elementary students in grades 1 – 5: 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- AM Kindergarten: 8:45 to 10:45 a.m.
- PM Kindergarten: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- AM Pre-school Disabilities: 9 10 a.m.
- PM Pre-school Disabilities: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- Full Day Pre-school Disabilities: 9 to 11:30 a.m.
- Pre-School Morning: 9 to 10 a.m.
- Pre-School Extended Day: 9 to 11 a.m.
The West Caldwell Council will also convene Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at town hall, at 30 Clinton Road.
The New Jersey Education Association, largest teacher's union in the state, will hold its annual convention Thursday and Friday. Students in both the Caldwell-West Caldwell School District and West Essex Regional School District will have off due to the convention.
