The Roseland Knights and the North Caldwell Knights teams merged in summer of 2012, forming the West Essex Knights 12U youth baseball team.

“Since the merger, the Knights have amounted a 22-3 regular season record (26-5 over-all) and have been finalists both seasons together,” explained Tsilionis. “Because of our recent success, the 2013 spring team is playing in two very competitive leagues. We are looking forward to building on our recent success and transition to the 60/90 major league fields by fall."

The team is managed and sponsored by the Roseland Recreation Boosters Association and plays its home games in Roseland.
