Soccer Saturday Set For This Weekend
The all day event will be held in honor of James Caldwell High School graduate Col. John McHugh who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010.
Caldwell-West Caldwell's annual soccer celebration, the Col. John McHugh Memorial Soccer Saturday, is set for this Saturday.
On Soccer Saturday, all teams play at home on either Bonnel Field or the Lower Field. There will also be the presentation of the Memorial Awards, in honor of McHugh, a JCHS graduate who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010.

10:50 a.m. — National Anthem

11 a.m. — Junior varsity girls vs. Mount St. Dominic Academy on Lower Field
11 a.m. — Varsity Girls vs. Mount St. Dominic Academy on Bonnel Field
12:30 — Col. John McHugh memorial awards dedication ceremony
- Welcome and Overview Speech presented by Rich Porfido, James Caldwell High School Athletic Director
- Col. McHugh Leadership Awards presented by the Soccer Club
1 p.m. — Varsity boys vs. Glen Ridge High School on Bonnel Field
1 p.m. — Junior varsity boys vs. Glen Ridge High School on Lower Field
All Day: Caldwell Food Bank Collection, and food and apparel sales
