James Caldwell High Football Season Kicks Off Friday in Cedar Grove

Are you ready for some Chiefs football?

A new football season will begin this month for the James Caldwell High School Chiefs, who play in the Super Essex Conference Colonial Division. The following is the upcoming schedule for the team. 

  • Friday, Sept. 20: Away at Cedar Grove High School at 7 p.m. 
  • Friday, Sept. 27: Away at West Essex High School at 7 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Oct. 5: Home vs. Belleville High School at 2 p.m. 
  • Friday, Oct. 11: Away at West Side High School at 7 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Oct. 19: Home vs. Barringer High School at 1 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Oct. 26: Home vs. Orange High School 2 p.m. 
  • Friday, Nov. 1: Away at Millburn High School at 7 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Nov. 9: Away at Irvington High School
  • Thursday, Nov. 28: Home vs. Verona High School
The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association State High School Football Championship begins with the first round playoffs on Nov. 15-16. The second round playoffs will be Nov. 22-23. The final round will be Dec. 6-7.
