Four West Essex Regional High School athletes have signed letters of intent to play college-level sports in the fall.

  • David Greczek of Fairfield signed with Rutgers University in New Brunswick where he will play Division 1 Soccer. David, who played for the West Essex Varsity Soccer Team as goalie for three years, plays soccer at MatchFit, a U.S. American League team with the U.S. Soccer Federation. New rules prohibited David from playing for West Essex as a senior.
  • West Essex High School Senior Amanda Cassera of Fairfield, who scored her 100th career goal this past season for the West Essex Varsity Field Hockey team, signed to play field hockey for Boston University.
  • West Essex High School senior Nour Aly of North Caldwell signed to play football for Wagner College.
  • West Essex senior Brianna Panico of North Caldwell signed to play soccer for Coastal Carolina University.
