Essex Running Club's Final Kids Meet Sunday
Introduce your child to track and field with this Glen Ridge meet open to boys and girls ages 4 to 13.
The final meet of the Essex Running Club's Junior Track Series is scheduled for Sunday.
The meet is open to boys and girls ages 4 to 13 and will take place on Hurrell Field, 861 Bloomfield Ave., in Glen Ridge. Registration begins at 4 p.m. and meets start at 5 p.m.
There will be a number of running events, including, a 50-meter (ages 4-6), 100-meter (4 & up), 200-meter (5 & up), 400-meter (6 & up), 800-meter (7 & up) and 1-mile race (10 & up). Field events include the long jump and javelin throw.

Entry fee is $5 per child and includes all events.
