Donate Used Baseball Gloves to U.S. Troops

James Caldwell High School baseball player collecting gently used gloves, new balls this week.

The annual Beefsteak Dinner for James Caldwell High School’s Baseball Team will take place on Thursday, Feb. 7.

Sophomore player Hunter Smith will be collecting used baseball gloves and new baseballs to be shipped to U.S. Troops serving overseas through Gloves4Troops, a program started by minor league baseball player Vance Albitz in California.

Vance ships donations to Afghanistan and other areas around the world where U.S. troops are serving.

Cash donations are also needed ($20 covers the cost of shipping a box of 4 gloves and 4 balls).
