Realities of College Recruiting will be presented on April 3.

The Realities of College Recruiting will be presented at the Montville High School Library on April 3 at 7 p.m.

Jack Renkens, a former college coach and recruiting expert, will give the "straight-forward, no-nonsense, fun" 60-minute presentation.

"We have made an investment as a community to provide our student-athletes and parents with information about playing college athletics," the promotion flyer reads. "If your son or daughter truly has aspirations to play at the next level, this is a 'can't miss' event."

Rugby NJ the state based rugby organization tasked to grow high school and middle school rugby in NJ held a college recruitment night recently in Morristown. 65 parents and kids attended to hear Karen Fong Donahue from Ruggers Edge talk about college opportunities for high school rugby athletes. Both women's and men's college programs are reaching out to experienced and cross over high school athletes. Lots of the excitement stems from rugby being reintroduced as an Olympic sport in the 2016 Olympics. For more information contact morrisrugby.org or Rugby NJ
