POSTPONED: Coaches Vs. Cancer Reschedule Due to Snow

Benefit basketball game empowers coaches, their teams, and communities to join the fight against cancer.

UPDATE: Coaches vs. Cancer and the girls and boys basketball games scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9 have been postponed to Saturday, Feb. 16.

Girls and boys varsity basketball teams from James Caldwell High School in West Caldwell will take to their home courts to raise funds for the American Cancer Society on Saturday, Feb. 9.

The girls will play against Cedar Grove at 2 p.m., and the boys will take on Butler at 3:30 p.m. Both games take place in the high school gymnasium.

The benefit basketball game empowers coaches, their teams, and communities to join the fight against cancer by participating in awareness efforts, advocacy programs, and fundraising activities, according to a release from Caldwell-West Caldwell Schools.

The program supports those whose lives have been impacted by cancer and also funds research to find cures.

Coaches vs. Cancer has raised more than $87 million for the American Cancer Society to date.
