Battle Of West Essex: Knights Triumph Over Chiefs

The Chiefs will take on Belleville High School at home on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m.

The battle of West Essex ended with West Essex Regional High School on top this weekend. 

West Essex football Knights beat out the James Caldwell High School Chiefs on Saturday 14-24 at home, according to NJ.com. The Knights remain unbeaten at 3-0, and handed James Caldwell its first loss of the season, who are now 1-1. 

The Chiefs led at the end at the end of the first half 7-3, according to NJ.com. The fourth quarter also began with the Chiefs on top 14-10, but then the Knights scored 14 unanswered points before the final whistle.
