Caldwell College's Kovach Named CACC Volleyball's Co-Rookie Of The Week

Taylor Kovach is having a solid freshman season, averaging 1.76 kills per set and hitting .219 while leading Caldwell in blocks with 0.57 per set.

Caldwell College freshman middle blocker Taylor Kovach, was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Volleyball Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending Nov. 10.

Kovach averaged 2.83 kills, 1.17 blocks and 1.00 service aces in two victories last week.

In the Cougars’ 3-0 victory over Bloomfield last week, Kovach delivered 10 kills, five aces and four total blocks while hitting .389. She then hit .417 with seven kills and three blocks to help Caldwell defeat USciences in three sets on Saturday.

The wins helped the Cougars clinch the CACC North Division title with a 15-4 record in league play.
