Caldwell College's Jeanette Anderson Named Co-Player Of The Week

Anderson is a three-time all-CACC forward, is averaging 18.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.

Caldwell College senior forward Jeanette Anderson was chosen the Eastern College Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week for the week from Dec. 9-15.

Earlier this week, Anderson was named both the Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

In the Cougars’ only game of the week, Anderson registered the 40th double-double of her career with 19 points and 15 rebounds while shooting 6-of-10 from the field in a loss to Franklin Pierce University on Friday.

She also had a season-high four steals, and held Kara Charette, the Northeast 10 Conference’s leading scorer at 20.3 points per game, to 11 points.

Anderson, a three-time all-CACC forward, is averaging 18.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game to rank fifth in the conference in scoring and fourth in rebounding.

The ECAC's membership includes approximately 300 colleges and universities from Maine to North Carolina and westerly to Illinois. Caldwell student-athletes have received weekly and year-end honors from the ECAC since joining the organization in 2004, and the men's and women's soccer teams and men's and women's basketball teams have competed in ECAC championship tournaments.
