Caldwell College senior forward Jeanette Anderson was named the CACC Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week for women’s basketball.

Freshman forward Alyssa James was chosen the CACC Rookie of the Week.

The duo helped the Cougars extend their winning streak to six with two victories last week.

This is the second CACC Rookie of the Week honor for James, who registered a pair of 15-rebound games while averaging 7.5 points, 3.5 blocks and 1.5 assists over the two wins.

Against Post, she had 13 points, 15 boards and four blocks. James then tallied two points, 15 rebounds and three blocks in the win over Dominican. Through 16 games, she is averaging a CACC-leading 10.7 rebounds per game.
