Caldwell Coach Earns 100th Career Win

Women’s basketball coach Linda Cimino wins hundredth game with Cougars.

Congratulations are in order for Caldwell College women’s basketball head coach Linda Cimino who earned her 100th career win Saturday when the Cougars defeated Philadelphia University, 66-51, in the Gallagher Center.

Cimino becomes the second Caldwell women’s basketball coach to reach the milestone. Her overall record is 100-87 in her seventh season as coach. (Bob Costello has the program’s most wins, with 112 recorded between 1994 and 2000.)

With Saturday's win, the Cougars extended their winning streak to five and improved to 9-11 overall and 7-4 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.

Caldwell continues league play with a home game against Dominican College on Tuesday. The game starts at 6 p.m. in the George R. Newman Center.
