School Board Candidates File Applications

A look at who is running for school board in Caldwell-West Caldwell, West Essex and North Caldwell.

All three school districts in the Caldwells voted earlier this year to move school board elections to the November general election, a change made possible by a new state law. The school board elections will remain non-partisan.

There will be no vote on school budgets since the new law allows districts to approve a budget without a voter referendum so long as the budget satisfies a mandated 2% cap to the tax levy.

Here's a look at who will be running for school board in the Caldwells.
