Popat Chosen as West Essex Middle School Principal
Current fine arts supervisor will take over at the school in May.
A recently appointed West Essex Middle School supervisor will be taking over as principal at the school in May.
Vee Popat, who was appointed supervisor of fine, performing and practical arts at WEMS in September 2013, will be replacing the retiring David Montgomery, according to a report on newjerseyhills.com.
Popat will earn $128,300, according to the report.

Popat earned his bachelor’s at Virginia Tech, master’s at the University of Miami and another master’s in educational administration from the University of Scranton. He lives in Randolph with his wife Heather Jones Popat, according to the website.
