Students Achieve Honors At Mt. St. Dominic

Mount St. Dominic Academy has announced that the following local students have achieved honors this past semester. 

The following Caldwell residents have attained first honors for the first marking period: Alexis Havrila'14, Meredith Kelley'14, Erin Mihalik'14, Maura Rasmusson'14, Alexandra Arleo'16, Katherine Collette'16 and Natalie Conklin'16. Katherine Kinslow'15, Maeve Naughton'15 and Gillian Oldroyd'15 attained second honors. 

The following Essex Fells residents have attained first honors for the first marking period: Claire Peck'14, Jacqueline Apuzzio'16, Emily King'16 and Kennedy Secoy'17. 

Fairfield residents, Olivia Gemma'14, Julia Turi'14, Gabrielle Lombardi'15, Sophia Polifonte'15, Maggie Paruta'16, Samantha Pagliuca'17 and Grace Rose Sheehan'17, have attained first honors for the first marking period. Jennifer Jones'15 and Jaynie Tumminio'15 attained second honors. 

North Caldwell residents, Julia Heller'15, Dominique Macaluso'17, Summer Orsini'14, Abigail Ortman'14, Kaeli Rizzo'17 and Courtney Sobotka'14, have attained first honors for the first marking period. Jessica Brodsky'14, Julie DeVoti '16, Nicole Iacullo'16 and Olivia Paige Mc Entee'15 attained second honors. 

Roseland residents, Angela Benevenia'14, Lauren Callahan'16, Amanda Corbosiero'14, Sabrina Francisco'14, Vanessa Francisco'15, Michelle Julian'14, Melissa Julian'17 and Catherine O'Brien'17, have attained first honors for the first marking period. Kelly Heil'15 attained second honors. 

West Caldwell residents, Tyra Aversa'15, Grace Barrett'17, Kelly Barrett'14, Kathleen Bolger'14, Kathleen Brodowski'14, Alissa Casas'14, Emma Davison, Maeve Faherty'17, Carolina Lavorato'15, Kerry McCauley'17 and Anjali Shah'14, have attained first honors for the first marking period. MaryAlice Brodowski'16, Victoria Castiglione'17, Hannah Downey'15, Elinor Lavorato'15, Catherine Morrissey'17, Lindsey Patterson'17 and Liana Zaino'17 attained second honors.

First honors qualifications are comprised of the following: a total weighted average 92 or higher for major courses, all grades for major courses in the marking period must be 85 or higher, including all exam marks in the second and fourth marking periods and a passing grade is necessary in all other courses. 

Second honors qualifications are: a total weighted average for major courses 87 or higher, all grades for major courses in the marking period must be 80 or higher, including all exam marks in the second and fourth marking periods and a passing grade is necessary in all other courses.
