Three of the highest scorers in Mount Saint Dominic Academy's history were among the players to participate in the school's first annual Alumnae Basketball Game in Caldwell on Friday.
The Mount reached out to former players by phone, email and Facebook, rounding up 25 participants who were divided into two teams, Blue and White.
The former faced off in the school's Athletic Center for two, 20-minute halves, and players competed in a three-point contest at halftime.
It was a close game, but the Blue team pulled out a 34-31 victory. The high scorer for the game was Meghan Duffy ’11 on the White Team.
Participants ranged from the class of 1993 (Cristina Galindo Frazzano) up to the class of 2012 (Jamie Purcell), and included three 1,000+ point Mount players— Kathleen Young Carlson ‘95, Anne Giblin McDonald ‘95, and Jalessa Lewis ‘09.
Current Lions' basketball coach Jerry Aquino served as referee.
