Maiorano, Valle, Rizzotti Named Students Of The Month At GCMS

The academic success of three Grover Cleveland Middle School students have made them the school's students of the month. 

The middle school recognizes a student from the sixth, seventh and eighth grade every month throughout the year as its Students Of The Month. For October, the winners are: 

  • Sixth-grader Corinne Maiorano
  • Seventh-grader Vanessa Valle; and 
  • Eighth-grader Catherine Rizzotti.
“To be nominated as a Student of the Month, students must achieve academic success; exhibit positive behavior; have a positive and friendly attitude; be understanding, honest, and caring; and be a creative thinker,” said school principal James Brown.

The students’ photos are displayed in the school throughout the month with a description of why they were selected.
