Caldwell-West Caldwell Schools Announce Kindergarten Registration Dates

Children turning 5 before Oct. 1, 2013 are eligible to enroll. Here's what parents need to know about enrolling in district's kindergarten and pre-K.

The Caldwell-West Caldwell School District has scheduled registration for the 2013-2014 kindergarten class for the week of Feb. 11. 

Any child who will be five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2013 may register. Children reaching the age of five on or after Oct. 2, 2013 will not be eligible for kindergarten until September 2014. 

To complete registration, parents must present the child’s original birth certificate and proof of residency along with the registration application. Parents will be able to obtain registration materials from the district’s website at www.cwcboe.org/kindergarten or from the elementary school that their child will be attending.

All registration materials must be brought to the appropriate elementary school on the day of registration. Mail-in or e-mail registrations are not accepted at any time. 
 
Registration for Lincoln School will be on Feb. 11, Wilson School will be held on Feb. 12, Washington School on Feb. 12 for last names beginning with A-L and on Feb. 14  for last names beginning with M-Z, and Jefferson School will be Feb. 15.

All registrations are held from 9 to 11 a.m. To determine which school a child will attend, parents can visit the district website at www.cwcboe.org/boundaries.
