Caldwell High Senior Receives Scholar/Athlete Award

James Caldwell High School senior Michael Wasik was recently selected as this year's recipient of the NJSIAA Scholar/Athlete Award for his school.
Every member high school selects each year a senior who plays a NJSIAA varsity sport, possesses a specific cumulative grade point average, and exhibits outstanding school and community citizenship, to be honored at its annual Scholar/Athlete awards banquet.
More than $120,000 in scholarships are given out each year to the athletes at this event, which was held last Sunday at Pines Manor in Edison.
