Wealthiest Town in NJ List Doesn't Include The Caldwells
The wealthiest New Jersey community is Tavistock in Camden County, according to NJ Spotlight.
All three Caldwells were not to be found on NJ Spotlight's list of the wealthiest communities in New Jersey.
The list took into account median household income from 2007-11, as reported through the U.S. Census Bureau. North Caldwell leads the three communities with an average median household income of $156,270.
The median household incomes for each community are as follows:
Caldwell: $73,836
North Caldwell: $156,270
West Caldwell: $103,838
The wealthiest New Jersey community, according to the list, is Tavistock, in Camden County. The median income in the small borough, which NJ Spotlight reported had a population of five people according to the last U.S. Census in 2010, is about $250,000.
