Public Input Sought for Hilltop Reservation's Master Plan

Meeting will be held next week at the Verona Park Boathouse.

A public input meeting for the Hilltop Reservation's master plan will be held next Wednesday, June 18 at the Verona Park Boathouse.

The master plan will define goals and objectives for the park and will focus on medium- and long-term requirements for achieving those goals. The master plan, which has been commissioned by Essex County, is being developed by consultants from CME Associates.

The meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., will include exhibits and a brief presentation before being opened for a public forum. The consultants will gather the public's feedback to consider including in the master plan.

The meeting will be the only opportunity to provide feedback on the master plan. The meeting will also only discuss the Hilltop Reservation's 284 acres and will not include the development plans for North Caldwell and Cedar Grove in the overall Hilltop area.
