Adult Rental Community to Break Ground This Spring

Value Companies, Inc. is expected to break ground on The Villas at West Caldwell this spring, according to the Clifton-based developer, owner and manager. The rental community will be located at 475 Passaic Ave., across from . 

The Villas at West Caldwell will accept active adults ages 55 and older. The 30 planned residential units will consist of two-bedrooms with floor plans ranging from 1,200 to 1,500-square-feet. Rents will start in the mid-$2,000s. 

“The Villas at West Caldwell will provide active adults an exciting new option for upscale living,” President and CEO of the Value Companies Andrew Abramson stated in a release. “We expect this neighborhood will have strong appeal to those seeking to remain close to northern New Jersey’s convenient surroundings and friends and family in the area.”

Amenities for residents will include a clubroom, fitness center and outdoor patio area. The apartments will be situated in a two-story elevator building with covered parking. An additional 65 surface parking spaces will also be created.

Value Companies owns and operates more than 3,600 residential units throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas, according to the release.
