Stonybrook Road Closed This Week For Construction
West Caldwell Township is advising residents plan an alternate route.
Stonybrook Road in West Caldwell will be closed this week for construction as crews repair the street that was damaged during a water main break in July.
Milling and paving will begin Wednesday. Construction is expected to be completed by Friday at the latest. Crews will be working on the road between 7:30 a.m. and the late afternoon.
Construction will be near the intersection of Central Avenue. The roadway will be closed to traffic at times and the township is advising residents plan an alternate route.
The work stems from a 12-in water main that cracked in late July. Crews shut down the street for half a day to repair the water main.
