Speed Restrictions On Garden State Parkway, Turnpike In Effect

Drives are urged to use caution when traveling on the heavily-used roadway.

Speed restrictions are now in effect in both directions on the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike. 

On the GSP, the speed limit is 45 miles per hour because of the heavy snow and roadway conditions, according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, from Exit 105 in Tinton Falls to the New York state line in Montvale. The restriction went into effect at 8:30 a.m. 

The speed limit is also a 45 miles per hour on the Turnpike as of 6:03 a.m. in both directions between Delaware Memorial Bridge in Pennsville Twp and George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee

As of 8:30am, there's a Speed restriction on the Garden State Parkway in both directions between Exit 105 - NJ 36 in Tinton Falls and New York State Line in Montvale 45 miles per hour due to roadway conditions. 

As of 6:03am, there's a Speed restriction on the New Jersey Turnpike in both directions between Delaware Memorial Bridge in Pennsville Twp and George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee 45 miles per hour due to roadway conditions.
