A Caldwell restaurant owner told police one of his storefront windows was cracked when he arrived to open up for business on Saturday, August 20, shortly before 8 a.m.
According to Caldwell Police Det. Sgt. Anthony Marta, a possible vandal may have smashed a window at , a coffeehouse and bistro located at 336 Bloomfield Avenue.
There is no information about what may have caused the crack or who was responsible for it, Marta said.
The window this week remains taped.
