North Caldwell Student Cleared of Drug Charges

After prosecutors moved to drop charges against a 21-year-old college student accused of being involved in a prescription drug ring, the North Caldwell man is having difficulty finding an internship.

A 21-year-old North Caldwell man wrongly accused in a prescription drug bust last month is having trouble finding an internship, according to a news report.

Anthony Grazioso Jr., was arrested March 14 and charged with conspiracy as part of an investigation conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.

Grazioso, however, was able to prove that he was attending a college class when he was alleged to have been involved in a drug transaction, according to newjerseyhills.com.

Prosecutors moved to have the charges against Grazioso dismissed earlier this month, but the 21-year-old student is finding that the case has impaired his ability to find an internship, the website reported last week.

“This event, this whole process, had a substantial impact on Anthony, but he’s a strong young man and I’m confident that he’s going to deal with this,” the North Caldwell man's lawyer told the website.

Grazioso is continuing his search for an internship.
