That should narrow it down. A thin young man. So I guess he is between 14 and 30. He is either white/black/spanish/indian or asian. He has either long short or no hair.

Would you have gone out looking for the suspect if you had found out sooner?

There could be reasons why the discription was not given out. Maybe the police are doing their police work and do not want information given out. I also think we had a small amount of rain that evening. I think the ground was wet . That could be the reason for the helicoptor not flying or them not having enough reason to call the helicoptor out. Something tells me the police are doing what they do best. Their jobs.

So he had a weapon! what exactly is the helicopter gonna do? This guy is gone by the time they call the chopper fly out there and what would they be looking for? This guy could have changed his clothes got into a car helicopter is not gonna do anything, waste of money and time if they don't know exactly where this guy went! And do you really think West Caldwell cops are gonna be looking for this guy the right way! This guy is gone probably took the bus back to Newark! Police in West Caldwell are not use to solving these crimes they are use to harassing kids smoking, pulling over women, and looking for lost pets! I wouldn't call these keystone cops for anything! Just sayin.

I definitely would have locked my doors and brought my children in.

Mr Cryan, in the future please use correct grammer while making inane comments.

So who care's if he robed the gas station? They are ripping us off everytime we pull up and laughing in our face! Good for him I hope he gets away with it! I don't mean to offend anyone but if i do so what get over it! And those knuckeheaded cops couldn't catch a cold! I can defend myself and my family and i certainly would not call 911 for any reason! But that's just me i don't have a book of rule's i follow like most people Always question authority because most of the time they are breaking the very law's they were sworn to uphold! And why don't you just say stupid comments instead of inane! We can go all day on this if you want!
