Police Looking For Man, Woman In Connection With Theft At Caldwell Business

The Caldwell Police Department is investigating a theft that took place at Puttin' on the Ritz After Five on Friday.

Police are looking for a man and woman in connection with a theft at a local Caldwell business on Bloomfield Avenue, according to authorities. 

The Caldwell Police Department is investigating a theft that took place at Puttin' on the Ritz After Five, at 285 Bloomfield Ave., on Friday, Nov. 8., shortly before 4 p.m.

A woman customer in the store at the time reportedly distracted an employee while a man actor took the employee's wallet and makeup bag from behind the counter, according to police. 

The man then left the business first and soon after the woman abruptly followed him, police reported.    

The man is described as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5-feet 6-inches tall, tan, with dark hair with gel in it, and wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt and light colored jeans and sneakers, according to police. 

The woman also is described white, in her late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5-feet 4-inches tall, with bleach blonde hair, and wearing a pink sweater and pink shoes, according to police.
