Letter to the Editor: Thanks from Team Courtright

Send Letters to the Editor to caldwells@patch.com.

Team Courtright wants to thank everyone who supported our First Annual Skate 4 CF event to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their drive to make CF stand for Cure Found. (www.cff.org)

Together we brought in over $6,000 at the event.

We want to thank our family, friends and the Boy Scouts from Caldwell-West Caldwell Troop 9 who helped us make this such a successful event.

We especially want to thank all our volunteers. You were all such a great help to us!

We want to thank Patrik Elias from the NJ Devils for his special surprise visit to our event.

We are very thankful for the signed hockey sticks and pucks he brought to the event for us to auction off.

There are some very happy Devils fans out there!

We want to thank Mackenzie and her coaches, Deana and Andrea, for the special Figure Skating routine she performed dedicated to her brothers and those living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Another thank you goes to Polka Dot for donating his time to entertain all of you!

We also want to thank many of the businesses and families that sponsored or donated items to our event.

So a big thank you to:
