Born in Glen Ridge, Michael was a lifelong resident of West Caldwell.

Michael was active in the Forward Face Organization in New York and enjoyed attending Spiritual Catholic Retreats.

Michael was the beloved son of Charles Sr. and the late Mary Ann Martin; dear brother of Charles Jr., Thomas, Sharon, and Brian and his wife, Melissa, and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
